The vision for Wentworth is to be the world’s premier private golf and country club. K2CM were PM/EA on Wentworth’s major renovation project, which included the development of an enhanced health and fitness club, incorporating a state-of-the-art gym, dance studio, external tennis courts and spa. The work included extremely high quality refurbishment of public areas, bars and restaurants requiring full strip-out and refurbishment of the space with new lighting, flooring, ventilation and extensive layout realignment.
K2CM managed the project, in liaison with the key stakeholders of the club, to ensure that the works were delivered to a fixed deadline, to budget and where possible, facilities remained open to members.

K2CM were appointed by Bloc Hotels to deliver this unique scheme directly above the South Terminal at Gatwick Airport. Following the success of their first hotel in Birmingham, Bloc sought to expand their offering throughout the UK. Their hotels offer an innovative, style-led compact room perfectly suited to Gatwick Airport.
The hotel comprises 245 rooms, with the hotel entrance and reception located within the South Terminal building adjacent to the departure lounge. The hotel is formed within the existing structure, configured over four floors, set on a podium above the terminal building.
Bloc Hotel,
Gatwick Airport
The existing building was stripped to the concrete frame, re-clad and fitted out using pods delivered to site. The scheme includes Bloc’s proprietary internal finishing system as well as working closely with their technology partner, Samsung, to deliver a high tech user experience. This project required a high level of interface with Gatwick Airport Limited and other local stakeholders to ensure the build and finished scheme caused only a limited amount of impact and disruption. The project was let on a
single stage design and build basis to Vinci Construction. Complex logistics within a major international airport made this a very challenging project.
